General Information

Canadian Immigration medical examination
Your medical examination can be done quickly and conveniently in our office.
All tests are done at one location and in one visit.

What to do in 4 easy steps:

1. Register online
Submit all the information required by immigration. This will allow us to prepare your file in advance, saving you time, avoiding error and making your visit with us quicker and less stressful.

2. Make an appointment
After you have registered, please call us at 801-422-5538 to make an appointment. If you get an answering machine, please leave your name, phone number and Country of immigration. If we are helping other clients, or it is late afternoon or after hours, we will call you the next morning. Our hours are M-F 9:00am to 5:30pm.
We are currently booking appointments in the next 5 days. This call will take a few minutes so that we can give you specific instructions about what exactly to bring with you to the appointment. Be sure to have your passport information with you when you call us. The information is very important for your ease and success in filling out an application.

3. Arrive for your appointment
As soon as you arrive, you will need to stop at the reception desk and check in. A Visa specialist will check you in and take a picture. We will have documents ready for you to sign giving us permission to send your eMedical file via the internet. Depending on your age, you may also need a chest X-ray and laboratory tests.
The tests do not require fasting (you can eat before you come in).
If you are pregnant and are concerned about X-rays, you can choose to finish the exam and wait to do your X-ray until after you have given birth.

If you do need the x-ray and labs, you will be taken to radiology and the lab for a UA and any other tests that are required. Anyone over the age of 5 will be required to do a UA. We will then take you to an exam room for vital signs and your visa exam.

You will have a standard physical examination by the panel doctor.
This does not involve an internal examination or breast examination. It will however, be necessary to undress for the examination, down to your under-clothing . You will receive a gown for coverage and comfort. A chaperone may be available if a client requests one.

4. That's it
If this information does not answer all your questions, please call us at: 801-422-5538.
