Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy provides care for a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries including: joint sprains & strains (acute or chronic), muscle strains, neck and back pain, headaches, carpal tunnel/overuse injuries, TMJ pain & dysfunction, post-op orthopedic surgical rehabilitation, pre-employment lifting tests, and sports-related injuries.
Clinic Information
The BYU Student Health Center Physical Therapy department is staffed by a licensed Physical Therapist that is also a Certified Athletic Trainer. The Physical Therapist is assisted by a competent and trained staff of PT aides. The Physical Therapy clinic is located in the BYU Student Health Center and is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Appointments can be scheduled by calling Physical Therapy at (801)422-9735. The clinic is fully equipped including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, phonophoresis, whirlpools, stationary bikes, treadmill, total gym, Scifit arm/leg recumbent bike along with several other pieces of exercise/balance equipment. The physical therapist strives to provide each patient the best possible care in a cost-effective and timely fashion that is individualized to each patient’s specific needs.
